East Sumba
East Sumba is mainly Waingapu: a town that is not really a city but very local, and the business centre of the east, with an airport and a port. It is more of a savannah area and not the same as West Sumba: somewhat less authentic, and somewhat richer, with a bit more employment, although it is still a very poor area. There is hardly any tourism and there are hardly any projects at the moment. Here I describe where the area stands. The choice stays with you. I want you to know what comes with it.
